Does the Club have ferrets to adopt?
The club is currently concentrating all their efforts on education and cooperative work with the Ferret Rescue and Halfway House. After rescuing and placing close to thirty ferrets, the CCFC is now referring all those wanting to adopt ferrets to The Ferret Rescue and Halfway House, run by Mason Lowery.  E-mail Mason at masonfer@sbcglobal.net (765) 349-0265. The club does rescues and after medical care by a vet, rescued ferrets are generally placed with Mason for adoption.
Why should I join the CCFC?
The club is working to educate the public about ferrets as pets and the special care they require.  At club meetings and in the bi-monthly newsletter, information on training, care and medical problems are discussed.  Speakers are often on hand to lend their expertise.  The CCFC also sets up information tables at animal events and at local pet stores to answer questions about ferrets from the non-owner and owner alike.  You can help by joining the club and taking part in these educational events.  Hopefully the outcome will provide ferrets with better care and less surrenders.  Don't you want to be a part of this effort?
Can I help ferrets without becoming a member?
Yes.  You may sponsor a special care ferret or simply make a donation.
